I feel like this is the coldest Safeway on the island. So I like that I can bundle up when I go shopping here. Plus I like to check out their cute holiday decorations throughout the year too. Plus the employees are always nice too. Until next time. XOXO, ChelsieFletcher
This is a decent Safeway - maybe a level 2? I shopped around Target, Walmart, and Costco and I think this Safeway had a larger variety of local, made in Hawaii/Maui products. The chocolates are cheaper at Costco and Target though. I like that this location was easy to drive in and out of and that there is a gas station.
Always an awesome place to get some basics like water, bread, snacks, fruits, and.... POKE! If you want a large selection of POKE to choose from, Safeway is a safe and solid place to go. This place is always busy, and especially this branch because it is right smack in the middle of tourist town. But there is a large free parking lot so it's convenient. Also the location is very convenient. Everyone from our party seemed to have found a place to stay along this strip. And buying chips and fruits for the kids' snacks here really saved everyone some dough.
